Hell

If it exists, let me burn in it.
I cannot imagine any sin so grievous
that it would deserve 'eternal damnation'.
Perhaps the extent of my cruelty
lacks the vehemence of an immortal being.
If my god is given to extravagant
gestures, let him do with me as he pleases.
Who put this maddening consciousness into me?
Let him roast it on the coals.
