Our heroine's mouth resembles a pink anus or a closed anemone. In either
case, there is a sense of threat, voracity, expulsion. When she talks, she
takes care to hide her teeth. Everything she says is quite painful, cruel.
When I ask her why, she tells me that she can afford to be cruel. It is
simply an offshoot of her self-sufficiency.
Her generosity exceeds all bounds. It even inches towards sacrifice; or
perhaps, by watching her, we realize that sacrifice is simply ridding oneself
of something that has lost its novelty in order to assauge the jealousy
of the new. Which is why the frequency of sacrifice makes its true nature
more apparent. Here's something I found in one of
her letters.
