Because of this desire for something beyond, I find it difficult to believe
that hunters simply stop at wildlife. Wouldn't it be natural for them to
escalate to humans? Is it only the fear of the law that prevents them?

When the law actually becomes an entirely outward force, it ceases to exist
as an entity within the mind. The more oppressive an environment, the more
amoral an individual becomes. Too weak to defend ourselves,
we accept what is given. I am weak now. Whatever it is, I follow.
