The planarian is a flatworm that has only one opening that it uses for both a mouth and its anus. Thus, spitting, defecating, farting, burping, vomiting, and ingesting are all the same to theflatworm. Is this why our mouth, pursed, and our anus so strikingly resemble each other? We talk, eat, scream and kiss with this one rubbery orifice; I find the wetness grotesque, filthy.
When two mouths meet there is a terrifying struggle and one devours the other. I am wary of women who lunge for my mouth. I feel they are trying to feed upon my organs.
